Information we collect.
Inquiry and business information
When you contact us or request a discovery call, we may collect your name, business name, role, work email, phone number, website or domain, business category, service area, project range or plan preference, desired timing, current website status, service priorities, technical requirements, links, and the message or other information you choose to provide.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through an ordinary website form.
Technical, attribution, and usage information
Our systems may receive the page you visited, referring page, campaign parameters such as UTM values, browser and device information, and an IP address. For form security and rate limiting, the site stores a one-way hash of the submitting IP address rather than the raw address in the form-submission record. If you allow optional analytics, we may also collect page views and limited interaction events. Form-field values are not intentionally sent to analytics services.
Privacy preferences, cookies, and local storage
The site uses an essential privacy-preference cookie to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics and marketing tools. That cookie is configured to remain for approximately 180 days. If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics or PostHog may use cookies or local storage to maintain analytics state. Optional tools remain off until you make a choice when the consent panel is available.
Embedded and security-service information
Google Maps, when displayed, and Cloudflare Turnstile, when enabled on a form, may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and your interaction with their service. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms.
How we collect information.
- Directly from you when you submit a form, send an email, call us, or otherwise communicate with Loskutech.
- Automatically from your browser or device when you use the site, subject to your privacy choices where applicable.
- From service providers that help us operate the site, protect forms, deliver messages, or measure site performance.
- From public sources or business contacts when reasonably necessary to evaluate or respond to a business inquiry.
How we use information.
- Respond to questions, evaluate project fit, prepare an appropriate next step, and communicate about a requested service.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and its forms.
- Detect spam, enforce submission limits, investigate abuse, and protect Loskutech, our clients, and site visitors.
- Measure site performance and understand general usage when optional analytics consent has been granted.
- Maintain business records, establish or defend legal claims, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.
- Carry out another purpose that we explain when the information is collected or that you authorize.
How we disclose information.
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Recipients may include:
- Hosting, database, security, monitoring, and other infrastructure providers that operate the website and store authorized business records.
- Resend or another configured email-delivery provider used to route form notifications and business communications.
- Cloudflare when Turnstile is enabled to evaluate whether a form interaction appears legitimate.
- Google for Maps, consented Google Analytics, and search-performance services; and PostHog for consented product analytics when those tools are configured.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or authorities when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate misuse, or address a dispute.
- A successor or transaction participant in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply when you interact directly with an embedded or linked service.
No sale or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Loskutech does not sell or rent personal information. The current site is not configured to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law before using information for the new purpose.
Analytics and browser privacy signals.
When optional analytics are available, you can choose analytics or essential-only operation through the site privacy panel and reopen Privacy settings to change that choice. Declining analytics is intended to disable Google Analytics and PostHog collection through this site and remove recognized analytics cookies that the site can access.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because the current site does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, it does not currently change its behavior in response to those signals. Optional analytics are instead controlled through the site privacy panel. You may also contact us to exercise a privacy choice described below.
Retention.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an inquiry, maintaining business and security records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and the status of the business relationship. We may keep a limited record of a privacy request when needed to document our response.
Security.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These include restricted administrative access, server-side form validation, origin checks, anti-spam controls, submission-rate limits, and hashed IP data for form security. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information associated with you, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. You may also ask for information about how we use or disclose your information. These rights can be subject to verification and legal exceptions.
To make a request, email hello@loskutech.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe the request and the email address or other information you used to contact us. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
Children.
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and Loskutech does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.
Third-party websites and services.
The site may link to or embed third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their operators, not by Loskutech. Review their policies before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the site, our practices, providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the site after an update is subject to the revised policy.
